About us
The pre-war modernist tenement at 20 Pulawska Street is an iconic building. Years ago, the premises at 20 Pulawska Street housed the iconic Mokotow Second Hand, and since 2022 we have been running the Mokotow Help Centre together with the residents of Mokotow in the premises. It was at 20 Pulawska Street that refugees from Ukraine received daily, free help – from clothes and food to emotional support.
Today, in the same location, there is Pół na Puł. A space that brings people together through culture, art and joint activities. For the interior design, architect Kacper Gronkiewicz focused on the zero waste spirit, as well as the synergy between the previous and current function of the premises – we used what was left of the former secondhand store and secondhand items, giving them new life and function.
Half on Pul is a vibrant and inclusive venue. Cultural and social events take place here: a film and TV series club, festivals, music evenings, exhibitions, author meetings, handicraft and ecological workshops, yoga classes, board game evenings, Polish language lessons for refugees and a neighbourhood day. The premises also include an eatery and a jar shop, as well as a plant adoption point.
